This project explores the design of a vibrant craft beer label for Able Seedhouse + Brewery, a Minneapolis-based brewery. The concept combines a refreshing pool-water background with playful illustrations of a beer can, a colorful doughnut, and citrus-inspired fruit to communicate the beer’s bright, fruity character.

The label uses bold orange, yellow, and peach tones against a cool blue background to create strong contrast and visual energy. Hand-drawn lettering gives the product a friendly, expressive personality, while the structured placement of branding, product information, warnings, alcohol content, and recycling details ensures the design remains functional and production-ready.

The project demonstrates skills in packaging design, illustration, typography, color theory, visual hierarchy, and preparing artwork for print through the use of bleed, die-cut, copy-limit, and label-size specifications.

These design demonstrates a strong understanding of layout structure, hierarchy, and information organization. The content is arranged into clearly defined sections, allowing customers to quickly navigate while maintaining a consistent visual rhythm throughout the pages.



Together, the pieces demonstrate an ability to create compelling travel graphics that balance expressive imagery with clear communication. The designs explore contrast, visual hierarchy, color, typography, and editorial storytelling to transform natural landscapes into engaging destination campaigns.

The artwork explores bold linework, expressive silhouettes, and balanced compositions, allowing each piece to stand out while maintaining a cohesive visual style across the sheet.

Inspired by traditional flash layouts, the designs are arranged to offer a range of tattoo concepts—from small, simplified icons to more detailed illustrative pieces. The monochromatic palette emphasizes clarity, shape, and line quality, making the work adaptable to various placements and sizes.

This project demonstrates an understanding of tattoo-ready composition, visual consistency, negative space, and the importance of creating designs that are both visually striking and practical for an artist’s portfolio or client reference collection.
